Perfect Window Solutions for Your Loft

Loft conversions are a fantastic enhancement for many homes, often serving as home offices, game rooms, or bedrooms. However, these spaces can sometimes become excessively bright, hot, or stuffy. Installing shutters in your loft can invite natural light and airflow while providing insulation to regulate the room’s temperature.

Which Style Works Best?

Choosing the right style depends on your window size and personal preference. Full height shutters are a flexible option, offering light control while covering the entire window, ideal for Velux windows as well. If you have larger windows, consider our Tier-on-Tier shutters, which cover the entire window but have separate top and bottom sections for enhanced privacy control. For larger windows, Café style shutters cover only the bottom section, balancing light exposure and privacy.   Alternatively, our Solid shutters are perfect for smaller windows, providing maximum insulation and privacy.

Why Choose Shutter Design Co Loft Shutters?

Shutters not only look stunning, but they are also stylish, easy to install, and incredibly versatile. Many lofts feature dormer windows, making curtain installation a hassle due to the need for special poles. While blinds are a basic option, they lack the versatility of dormer window shutters. Shutters come in a variety of materials, styles, and colors. Fitted directly onto the window frames, they excel at blocking light, preventing drafts, and insulating the room. Plus, they can even boost your property’s value!
