Kitchen Shutters

At Shutter Designs Co, we understand why curtains aren’t ideal for kitchens: cooking smells can cling to fabric. That’s why many opt for blinds, which can be pulled up to let in fresh air. However, blinds come with fabric cords that absorb odours and are tough to clean.

Kitchen Window Shutters: A Clean Solution

At Shutter Designs Co, we understand why curtains aren’t ideal for kitchens: cooking smells can cling to fabric. That’s why many opt for blinds, which can be pulled up to let in fresh air. However, blinds come with fabric cords that absorb odours and are tough to clean.

That’s where our custom-made plantation shutters come in. Tailored to fit your kitchen window and style, our shutters are practical, clean, and easy to maintain.

Best Shutters for Kitchens

All our shutter ranges at Shutter Designs Co, whether Natural Hardwood or Faux Wood/Waterproof, are perfect for kitchens. Our wood shutters are treated to withstand temperature changes, while our Faux Wood/Waterproof shutters are incredibly durable and easy to clean. They don’t fade, crack, or warp, and are available in full height, tier on tier, or café style.

Complete Light Control

Our kitchen shutters offer versatile light control. Adjust the slats for subtle light changes or open the panels completely. For more light, we recommend a larger slat size like the 89mm. Café style shutters are popular, covering the lower half for privacy while leaving the top open for light. Tier on tier shutters provide similar benefits and are great for large windows. Full height shutters are ideal for small windows, with the option to add a mid-rail for independent slat control.
